Membership Inquiries Omicron Chi Zeta Chapter includes members with varied years of service to the sorority. The membership is comprised of professional women from many walks of life, and chapter members hold Baccalaureate, Master’s, Doctoral and/or Professional Degrees in fields from Education, Social and Life Sciences, Engineering, Business and Management.
Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is by invitation only. In addition to a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college/university, candidates for membership must have a record of serving their community, commitment to scholarly endeavors, demonstration of the traits of Finer Womanhood, and interest in fostering the spirit of sisterly love. Eligibility for membership is also contingent upon compliance with other requirements as may be required by the by-laws of Omicron Chi Zeta Chapter. Opportunity to Serve Through volunteerism in the community, Zeta women develop the self worth and pride that comes from serving others and making a positive contribution to society. Professional Development Zeta women develop leadership skills by attending seminars, holding officer and committee positions within the chapter; and serving as a role models for the Sorority's youth affiliates. Personal Development Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is a living and learning experience for women with shared values and objectives. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities where you can use your unique talents and knowledge to contribute to the chapter and your community. We especially welcome Zeta Sorors who have relocated to the Harford County area in addition to those who have not been recently active within the sorority. We would love to use your talents to help advance the ideals of the sorority and enhance the quality of life for people in Harford County and around the world. Please visit one of our events or a chapter meeting and see why Omicron Chi Zeta Chapter is so “Outstanding.” Regular chapter meetings are held monthly, and all Zeta Sorors are welcome to attend. Prior notification of attendance is preferred, and membership credentials are required for admittance.
